Information on US Domestic Orders, Canada , and International Orders

We do not ship to Mexico and some other locations because of problems or restrictions in those locations. 
We normally have no problem shipping to most countries with fairly reliable postal systems. If in doubt, ask.

OVERVIEW: Thank you for visiting Leading Edge Research Group. We operate on very simple principles. When you send in your order for books and we have acquired the funds you send, we contact our printer and have your books freshly printed, especially for you.  Your books are printed/packed/shipped using your order money. We have no existing inventory or stock on hand. It is our creative way of having no stock but an infinite supply. When your books are ready in a couple of days, we pay for them, pick them up, transport them, pack them carefully and ship them to you via US Mail based on the information on your order form.

PAYMENT INFO:  We have never indulged the credit card system. We only accept the following: (1) $US Cash, (2) Checks drawn on a US bank (put on hold until it clears, then the order is immediately processed), (3) money orders, or (4) Western Union Money Transfers (see below).   Do not attempt to pay us in non-US currency. Your order will be returned to you. Customers including US Dollars cash should simply make sure that envelopes are opaque, sufficient paper is used to obscure viewing the presence of cash, or color of paper precludes discernment of contents in that regard. Use common sense. All orders MUST be accompanied by an order form for your area (USA, CANADA, INTERNATIONAL). Please read the information on the order form for payee info. Do NOT make assumptions! Incorrect orders are returned. We do not use PayPal or other similar methods of transfer. No exceptions.

Western Union Money Transfers: (See order form for correct payee name and location)  Email us with the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN), your name and address and the expected amount in US Dollars, and and any order details, and we can pick up order funds locally within 24 hours. Western Union money transfers can be done from many international locations, as well. If you don't pay attention and get the payee and location wrong ... you only hold up your own order.

SHIPMENT:  We only use US Mail for shipping. Book prices include basic book rate shipping within the USA (if you want Priority Shipping, 2-3 days, add $7 per book )and Delivery Confirmation Tracking (US Orders) or Air Mail (Canada and International Orders). Once your order is shipped, that ends our responsibility for the order. If you are ordering internationally, you are responsible for your customs duties, etc.  We will NOT use FedEx, UPS, DHL or other methods of shipping. Period. No exceptions.

We provide the best and most comprehensive research material on the planet, and we have complete descriptions and detailed information online and in the catalog about the books and what is in them, so there are no surprises. Since 1988, we have always had a no-returns policy. If you can't handle the material, or you think the information might be too much for you, don't order the books. US Domestic Orders:                           

ORDERING INFO: Use the US Domestic Order Form (PDF) provided. Print CLEARLY. Do NOT use cursive handwriting. If we can't read it, we can't process it. Make sure all necessary address information is included on your order form. Include your telephone or contact number and/or email address for advisory purposes. All information, of course, remains confidential. Since 1988, we have never given anyone's information out to anyone else. Do not attempt to order items that are not on the order form or in the book catalog. Incorrect orders will not be processed, but will be returned to the sender. be sure to include your payment with your order. Orders received without payment will be placed on hold for 7 days. If payment is not received within 7 days, the order will be destroyed and must be resubmitted. Email address must be included on the order form if membership in the Leading Edge Journal Online payment is included, so we can send you pertinent information on how to gain access for your account.

Customers including cash should simply make sure that envelopes are opaque, sufficient paper is used to obscure viewing the presence of cash, or color of paper precludes discernment of contents in that regard. NOTE: Since 1988, so far, we have never had anyone's cash go missing in the US Domestic mail. Use common sense when packaging your order. All orders accompanied by personal or company checks are put on hold until the check clears, in order to avoid potential problems. 

SHIPPING/HANDLING INFO: Book price includes US Postal Delivery Confirmation service and Book Rate (Media Mail) postage. Average delivery within 7-10 days, depending on location. Add $7 per book to send Priority Mail rate, average delivery 2-3 days after mailing. Since Media Mail to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico takes even longer than 7-10 days, customers in those locations should add on $7 per book to convert shipping to Priority Mail. US Customers from Guam and American Samoa should also include Priority Shipping in their order for the same reason. See other advisories on the Order Form. Once your order is shipped, that ends our responsibility for the order. We will NOT use FedEx, UPS, DHL or other methods of shipping. Period. No exceptions.

ORDER TRACKING: You may give us your email address and request that we send you the US Postal Delivery Confirmation number so you may track your order, if desired. Let us know. If you don't specifically request it, we won't send it to you and will just use it for our own purposes.

Canadian Orders:

ORDERING INFO: Use the Canada/Order Form provided. Print CLEARLY. Do NOT use cursive handwriting. If we can't read it, we can't process it. Make sure all necessary address information is included on your order form. Include your telephone or contact number and/or email address for advisory purposes. All information, of course, remains confidential. Since 1988, we have never given anyone's information out to anyone else. Do not attempt to order items that are not on the order form or in the book catalog. Incorrect orders will not be processed, but will be returned to the sender. Orders received without payment will be placed on hold for 7 days. If payment is not received within 7 days, the order will be destroyed and must be resubmitted. Email address must be included on the order form if membership in the Leading Edge Journal Online payment is included, so we can send you pertinent information on how to gain access for your account.

ATTENTION:  The NEW Green Canadian $US Postal Money Orders (unlike the old Salmon-colored ones) are NOT drawn on US Banks! Our banks will not pay us the face value, but less, because they have to send the instruments to Canada for collection. DO NOT SEND US these new Green Canadian $US Postal Money Orders! We will return your order. Another option is a Bank Draft in $US, but it MUST be drawn on a US Bank. Finally, there is $US cash in an opaque envelope.

Generally, ALL PAYMENTS MUST COME THROUGH THE MAIL, other than
